Council History

About Our St. Matthew Council

The Pope John Paul II Council 13812 was founded in May 2005 through the efforts of Father John Parish, Sir Knight Don Williams, and 38 other charter members.  Along with our host parish, we have grown substantially since those early day with currently over 80 members.

Our Council works closely with the St. Matthew Pastor and Parish Council providing both manpower and funds for various local charitable and parish projects including Catholic Charities, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and the VA Hospital.
