First Communion & Reconciliation

“The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.” 
For in the Eucharist is contained the spiritual good of the Faith, namely Jesus himself.

Children preparing for their First Reconciliation and Eucharist must be baptized Catholic.  Sacramental preparation is a two-year process, beginning typically in First Grade. 

The celebrations of the sacraments occur typically in Second Grade.  Children will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in late November in a special service.  They receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist in late April or early May depending on when Easter falls.  This celebration will take place on a Saturday morning, followed by a family Pancake Brunch.
